Sheltering during COVID 19.

COViD 19 has changed our lives possibly forever. We have been ordered to stay at home and our routine and our lives have changed. We are forever grateful to the frontline doctors, nurses and staff who are there for our family and friends. Our hearts go out to those who have lost loved ones due to the Corona Virus.

We need to make the most out of this unique time that we have at home, time for reduced schedules and a much slower pace.

My Day Spa is closed and I am not seeing my precious clients and patients. I am taking this time to celebrate that I can be of service to my patients, colleagues, neighbors and those in need in a different way. I love my new flexible schedule and am enjoying having more time to create nutritious healthy meals. We have been making many calls to check on friends and family and elderly or ill patients. I have been making aromatherapy inhalers for opening the lungs, roll-on blends for stress management and diffuser blends for boosting immunity for those in need. Aromatherapy is a wonderful tool to help us through these challenging times.

We celebrated spring equinox while we were in sheltering. I hope that you are using your sheltering time as a time to look within. This is a time for renewal regrowth rebirth and a time to open ourselves to new areas in our lives. Why not use this time as a chance to reflect and re-evaluate what’s important to you and assess the direction you are going in life. Do you want to make some changes? Go in a new direction?

Hopefully, we will discover that we are far more than what we thought ourselves to be.

There is now time to cook those healthy meals and create new recipes. We have many Farm boxes available to us in San Diego. I love Market Box San Diego which abounds with organic greens, avocadoes, field greens, arugula and more. . There are many other CSAs (Community Supported Agriculture) in San Diego and it is great to support our local farmers. Check out – Be Wise Organic Farms

Are you taking the time to keep a journal? Write down your thoughts and emotions as we navigate these uncertain waters.

Are you doing those projects you didn’t have time to do prior to COVID 19? When you rid clutter from your home, there is an opportunity for your mind to become uncluttered.
